The following sequence of photos, taken by Elaine Sandman (staff writer,
Bonners Ferry Herald), tells a story, one which took place on Thursday, August 27, 2007.
The place: Hooten Hollow Road, north of 3 Mile Junction on US Hwy 95. In addition to Mutual
Aid support from neighboring Fire Districts, Sheriff Sprungl and deputies secured the scene
while Idaho Dept. of Lands provided support from planes and helicopter to drop water
